WE DO! Lots of them. We went on a tour of Tanaka Farm in Irvine today with Briana, Jackson and Lucas. We rode on a wagon through the farm and the kids learned about how different fruits and vegetables are grown and got to sample several vegetables. Carrots and snap peas were a hit, lettuce and onions not so much. Ryan's Quote Of The Day came when we were given a leaf of Romaine lettuce to try, " Yuck! My lettuce needs salad dressing" as he proceeds to spit it out over the side of the wagon. The tour ended with a stop at a strawberry patch where you can pick your own berries. I think the kids ate more than they put in their baskets though. July begins the watermelon season and I think we will definitely have to go back for that.
